Cycle the Red Squirrel Trail from Shanklin (IoW). This easy-going accessible trail takes in estuaries, woodland, farmland, downland, and a stretch of the Island’s fantastic coastline. From Shanklin train station a lovely section of the trail runs uninterrupted along an old discussed railway cutting all the way to Wroxall. From here simply return back or go for the full circuit via Godsall, Merstone and back around through Sandown and home along the seafront.
