Walk at Chobham Common, the largest National Nature Reserve in the south east of England and one of the finest remaining examples of lowland heath in the world. Unlike many of its counterparts, there are few facilities here and it is managed with a light touch, giving an unexpected feeling of being in the wilderness. This huge expansive area straddles the M3 and has numerous car parking options. From Stapple Hill, with it dominating views, head down onto the larger part of the Common, or cross under the M3 onto the Northern side.
