A stunning pond set in beautiful heathland owned by the National Trust. There are numerous walking options from an easy circuit of the lake to longer walks venturing into the nearby Hankley Common and Thursley Nature Reserve. It has good facilities and can get really busy here on high days and holidays. There are other less busy places to access the commons nearby.

Dogs are welcome but expected to be on leads during the nesting season between March and September.

A good little cafe has reopened by the lake and is open in the summer months.

Leisurely 5 miles / 8.1 km. A walk from Frensham Little Pond to Hankley Common Golf Course and Tilford. The walk avoids any MOD land. Dogs on leads welcome, but be aware there may be firing and activity close by on the Common that dogs will not appreciate.
